Often when children are old enough to attend a traditional youth group, they have already committed to other activities . . . leaving your church with only one half, one third, or even one quarter of the church's children attending regularly.

Agapé † Kure Beach Ministries' goal is to keep your youth group strong and growing by laying a foundation for its future members - the 3rd thru 5th graders at your church!

Bring your elementary age kids to Camp Agapé for BYG, a fun community building camp experience. Because most BYG weekends are made up of groups from several churches, your group will have fun interacting with others during different camp activities like, canoeing, crafts, hiking, etc. While you are here, you and your campers will have:

  • Caring college age counselors who will work with group
    leaders and campers to facilitate relationship building
    experiences.

  • Time set aside for group leaders to be with their individual
    groups to plan, reflect, or simply be together.

  • A flexible schedule that allows us to modify activities as
    needed.

Cost for a 2012/2013 weekend event is $125 per camper (2012 price). Price includes housing, program staff, and meals from Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch. One leader attends free for every 7 youth.

Let us help you grow the bonds with the 6th - 8th graders in your group even BYG-er as you play in the woods of Agapé middle-school style! Experience all the fun of a BYG event and more! Groups may take longer hikes, camp at the Outpost, and try out the low-ropes course.

Would you like the opportunity to get to know your high school youth group kids a little better? Agapé Kure Beach Ministries is proud to offer BYG-est, the high school version of our growing Building Youth
Groups program. Bring your youth group to our Kure Beach facility and participate in games, team building activities, devotions, bible studies, discussions, and lots of beach fun. Our quality counselors
will be in charge of the group, so you can enjoy getting to know
your youth.

group activityIn BYG Leaders you will gather with other Youth Leaders (volunteer & paid) to learn from one another, ask questions, and examine the Agapé process used for teaching. We will share some skills, and experience together some tricks of the trade.

Lodging and meals are provided for a fee:

Choice A:
Friday 8:00 p.m. through Saturday at 8:00p.m.
(includes 1 night lodging, 3 meals and program)
Cost = $110.00 first person from your church
Cost = $  75.00 each additional person from your church 

Choice B:
Friday 8:00 p.m. through Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

(includes 2 nights lodging, 5 meals, and program)
Sunday's program is "How to Plan a Worship."
Cost = $135.00 first person from your church
Cost = $100.00 each additional person from your church
