Ministry Needs
Special Gifts:
Bequests, trusts, gifts of stock, and cash gifts are
all vital to our ministry.
Special Needs:
- Locksmith: In this time of construction, new Schlage locks will need to be re-keyed
to our current key master system. We can provide the locks if a locksmith can provide
their time and talent to key them. The immediate need is in
May for two locks for the cabin under construction at Agapé. The
larger need allows for more time, as we will need a good number
of locks for the new Kure Beach House beginning construction
later this fall, and we will be replacing the current locks at
the Kure Beach Center to match the new locks.
General Needs:
- Gifts of time and talent (carpentry, crafts, cleaning, yard work, flower
planting, stuffing mailings, taking pictures, and many more activities
we could use giving hands to accomplish).
- Join one of our site committees at Agapé or Kure Beach to help us be
more proactive in the stewardship of these sites.
- Gifts of treasure (small gifts, and, yes, large gifts are all important
to keeping this ministry vital).
- $200,000 for infrastructure work to expand the Agapé site.
- $1,000,000 is much needed to replace East and West at Kure Beach with a
wonderful new facility that will better serve groups. This
can be a gift or the purchase of the vacant beachfront lot next to
the KB Lutheran Center.
