Mir has been at Agape since 1996 “playing in the woods with kids” of all ages. Originally from Minnesota, she brings a lot of camp and naturalist experience from MN, WI, and PA. She has a passion for helping guests appreciate the wonders of God’s Creation at Agape and at Kure Beach.
Jessica started part-time as an ACE leader in the Fall 2006 and became full-time January 2008. She graduated from App State with a BS and MS in biology. She teaches all ACE programs, is the Adopt an Agape trail coordinator and the HaT chairperson. She lives in Fuquay with her husband and two very cute kids. Katie is a graduate of Appalachian State University. She has served on our summer staff for three years and worked at Luther Springs in Florida the summer of 2010. She is the Program director and is the warm face you’ll see when you arrive for a retreat! Nancy joined our staff in 1994 after moving from New Jersey. She is the retreat group and camper registrar and can answer your questions about the facilities and more. She is also responsible for bookkeeping. Penny got her start at Agapé hiking the woods as an ACE educator. In 2007 she was hired to work in the office as the Capital Campaign Coordinator. Since then she has taken on some of Agapé's marketing responsibilities. Penny lives in Fuquay with her husband Bob, their two college-aged children (whenever they are home on breaks) and their dog Taffy. Bill joined the Agapé team in early 2011. He and his wife Joan and their children, Taylor, Molly and Carter, live in the Holly Springs area. Bill was in the Navy, being a site manager for many Naval Bases all across the United States, but he also served on the USS Enterprise. "All of my life I have just wanted to help serve God and all of his creation, and now I have found it!" (bio written by Bill's son, Carter, on 5.6.11)Agapé Part-Time Staff
