Use GoodSearch.com and
GoodSearch Shopping
to support Agapé † Kure Beach Ministries
GoodSearch.com is an
internet search site devoted to
returning advertising money to charities designated by each search user. One half of all advertising revenues
(money advertisers pay to advertise on the GoodSearch site, just like on any other search site) are
distributed to registered non-profits in December of each year.
GoodSearch Shopping is
partnering with many online shopping sites to help GoodSearch registered non-profits, also. Simply using a link on the
GoodSearch Shopping page to navigate to the online store of your choosing allows part of your purchase to be donated.
Prices are the same as if you navigated to those shops by some other means.
GoodSearch.com is powered by the Yahoo search engine, so
you can rely on the results you will get. Your deeper questions can probably be answered at their
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.
An estimated $.01 per search is generated for the designated charity.
Just 100 people making an average of 2 searches per day would produce about $730.00 in a year for us.
I thought that seemed like a high expectation for an average “searcher,” but since I have registered A†KB Ministries
and designated it as my charity of choice, I have been very aware of how many searches I make over the
course of a few days. I might be the only one using it in the past 2-3 weeks, and we already have 26 cents.
Imagine how that could snowball!!! If we got 1000 to participate, we could be receiving $7,000.00 or so
each year! With over 10,000 annual guests (who all have friends), just think of where we could be next year…
